Marble Cat Shark (18")atelomycterus marmoartus The Marble Cat Shark is one of the most suitable sharks for the home aquarium. It achieves a maximum size of about 30". As an adult, it will need a minimum 180 gallon tank. For the first few months, a 55 75 would suffice. They require a bare bottom or fine sand bed, not crushed coral. They also need a lot of open room to swim, not a lot of rockwork that can collapse on them. They will not bother large fish, but can be victims

while the females tend to be more orange

they will spend their day scavenging along the tank walls and floor
