Antique Victorian silver cigarette caseAn attractive large Victorian sterling silver cigarette case. It has a nice wrythen pattern. It is gilt lined with an elastic strap to one side of the case to hold in the cigarettes. Fully hallmarked Chester 1889, makers mark is present but rubbed, bust of Queen Victoria. The case closes securely and well. Condition: Good used condition overall, it has a small split in the case to the top corner of one side, small dent, case slightly open on one edge

designed to stamp the name or crest into wax much like a seal
