This is clearly going to need time but should be approachable after only 6 to 8 years

This is slightly more aromatically elegant with a pretty mix of red and black pinot fruit

The wine is powerful but has very good harmony

the 2016 Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Vigna del Sorbo is magnificent

since 1992 though the first commercial release was not until 1997

There is an abundance of minerality infusing the concentrated

This markedly dry effort will need at least some forbearance

(a large 2 ha monopole of the Domaine with 80% of the vines planted in ’45 and the rest in ’75
