Hoya australis

Hoya australisThis is one of our all time favorite Hoya. They are great for beginners and should have a place in every collectors display as well! They are a fast growing vine that naturally trellis well. As the name might have given away, this Hoya is native to tropical parts of Australia. Care Australis usually tend do require a bit more water than your average Hoya. We recommend watering around every 10 12 days as the soil dries out and the foliage starts to

Since this is a desert species they get very minimal watering even more so in the winter months

This is partially because almost 90% of the plant is made up of water

Stromanthe triostar is known for is lovely pale pink variegation and its BRIGHT hot pink undersides

Alocasia frydek has beautifully distinct foliage with a velvety sheen

These prefer VERY BRIGHT indirect light but they can handle 2-3 hours of direct sun in the morning or evening

Dischidia care is very similar to Hoya care

This is a really incredible euphorbia species

A good indicator when they are thirsty is when the the foliage starts to feel limp and slightly flexible

Usually we water ours about every 3 weeks when you get into the 4-5 week stage this will completely dry out the roots and when you go in for a water the plant will rot from shock

these will NOT do well in lower light conditions

The foliage develops black spots on the underside in between it's veining that can be used to help identify if the flowers will be male or female
