They've been flattened at the tip, which adds a nice touch. They are light and comfortable to wear and get a lot of compliments. I've taken solid sterling silver wire and shaped it, hammered it and tumble polished it for durability, shine and springiness. I have carefully smoothed the rough edges off of the end of the wire that goes through your ear. These
