SOLD.....A silver handled sealing wax holder. Hall marked 1901.A decorative embossed silver handle containing a stick of red sealing wax. The silver is hall marked for Birmingham 1901 maker L&S. There are some small pressure marks on the plain surface of the handle but no damage. 10. 5 cm long without the wax. 4. 25 inches Stock no. JJ19

An unusual Tunbridge Ware stamp box
They are trimmed with faded gold and silver applied paper
The cards have rounded corners but no numbers which I believe dates them to circa 1870
A pair of small white metal filigree bowls of sturdy construction each weighing 44g
The box is veneered in a whitewood with a central rosewood panel
A gilded metal and enamel buckle decorated with pink rose buds on a bright blue ground
A wooden thread barrel from an early Georgian workbox in the style known as Painted Tunbridge Ware which predates the better known inlaid work of Victorian times
