The brewery was founded as Spring Brewery in 1852 by Prussian born Christian Heuser who emigrated to America in the late 1840s and settled in St. Charles, Missouri. It went through many name changes throughout the years until finally closing in 1970 under the name Van Dyke Brewing Company. Enjoy your favorite beverage
