SOLD…….A capped, double bladed folding penknife. Johnson maker. c 1830An early penknife with two steel blades and pearl sleeves which are plain but undamaged. The largest steel blade is stamped Johnson (the J of the lettering is missing). Small, measuring just under 6 cm (2. 25 inches) in length. In good condition with a strong spring on both blades but the larger one has probably been reduced in width over the years. Stock no. KL41

The chape and prongs are made of unmarked silver too

A cut glass scent bottle with a gilt screw on lid but no stopper

The top is in the form of an acorn and has written in red

The woven wicker work is neat and undamaged

Condition- Some of the silver trim is missing and there is some dust behind the glass but it is undamaged
