Antique Victorian Scottish silver and agate knot broochA stunning antique Victorian, Scottish silver and agate knot brooch or pin. Also referred to as the lovers knot. It is a large sized piece with a slices of inset carved and polished banded and Montrose agates, a lovely range of tones. The agates are set into a large sterling silver knot shaped brooch with engraved detailing. The brooch has an old c type clasp fastener and a silver safety chain and pin. Unmarked, tests as sterling silver, c1860s.
