LIONEL 3376 BRONX ZOO CAR, 60-66, 69 VARIATION (B) GREEN, YELLOW LETTERINGThe Operating Bronx Zoo Car No. 3376 was available from 1960 until 1966 and was issued again in the last year of post war production: 1969. The giraffe would lower its head to clear the tell tale (Part No. 3424 100) that was attached to the track. Came with two AAR trucks that had both operating couplers through production until 1963 when one of the couplers was changed to the solid non operating type. Came with instruction sheet No. 3376 117 issued

Came with a chemically blackened frame that usually has one brake wheel

It would be released again from 1957 until 1963

Variation C: BLACK plastic bumper that has a center rail pick-up without the notch
