FluoriteThe Llamas Quarry is a lesser known Fluorite producing locality in Asturias, on the north edge of Spain along the Bay of Biscay. In 2010 and 2011 some of the finest gem quality Fluorites were discovered and stashed away by one of the locals, who compiled a beautiful suite of specimens with varying habits and colors. According to our source, no more have been found, and nobody else seems to have them for sale now. There are several aspects to these

All of the twins are in excellent condition with no major damage that I can see with the naked eye

these are not the finest Pyromorphite specimens

Paravauxite

Fine crystallized Kunzites are only found in a few places on earth and Afghanistan is only place that produces them with any frequency these days

Hard to photograph and better in person

It appears that Sapo may never produce these attractive specimens of unusual Apatite again

This piece comes to us from the Kay Robertson collection (#8407) and the label states that it's from the Untere Riffelmoräne (Lower Riffel Moraine) in the Stubachtal (Stubach Valley) of Salzburg

they were still interesting with wonderful pink and green bi-color crystals

These "Copper Rose" specimens are classics from the mine that bears the same name

which dissolved away
