With their practical value as a floor covering that could be sold in times of difficulty, these rugs were not initially made to be sold, but rather as a dowry item. and this mood is reflected in the design of Sarouk (Saruq) rugs: a stunning fusion of angular floral patterns (with or without a central medallion) and primitive geometrics
