A Jaques Staunton "Club Size" Chess SetAn Antique Weighted "Club Size" Boxwood and Ebony Staunton chess Set by Jaques & Son, circa 1900 both kings with JAQUES LONDON stamped around the rim of the base in red, each chessman with a green baize lining to the underside, the king 4 inches (11. 5cm) high, the pawn 2 inches (5. 5cm) high, in a Jaques mahogany box (traces of the green label remaining), 23cm wide.
