Michel Gaunoux, Beaune Rouge(from 4 different vineyards). This is also agreeably fresh with a more refined nose of red berries, plum and violet hints. There is good detail and solid intensity to the seductively textured flavors that culminate in a balanced and persistent finish. This silky effort should drink well early but also age well too. 88 2016+
harvested August 31 and aged in 30% new French oak

This presents a completely different aromatic profile with its overtly spicy aromas of black pinot fruit
hints of candle wax emerging with time
fresh and equally floral-suffused nose offers up a mix of red and dark currant tinged with crushed fennel
and the colour is inky damson
Slightly reduced nose combines black raspberry
(made with ~60% whole clusters)
Composed of 44% Pinot Noir
