Poke Wood Tray (15in/38.5cm)Mori Kougeis Poke collection utilises the tsuki ita technique, where sheets of wood just a fraction of a millimetre thick are carved and reassembled to form decorative inlaid surfaces. The one of a kind results vary in colour and grain to reflect the character and environment of the wood at hand, and are detailed with finely illustrated patterns of all shapes and sizes from clean lined parallelograms to sprawling butterflies.

Handwoven in Milan
