Description
A pair of miniature silver pepperettes, 1897Two identical miniature silver castors pepperettes. They are hall marked for Birmingham 1897 E&C Ltd (Elkington). They are only 6cm high ( 2. 25inches) In excellent condition no damage or repair. Stock no. KQ41
In very good condition- no damage to the pink /green pearl and the blade is the full length and not sloppy
The lenses are oval and the arms of the extending variety
The chape is released by pulling a pin / slider on the side (see photos ) It has French silver 'petit guarantee' marks on the back
A small steel case with a sliding gilt brass lid stamped 'Best Cumberland Lead B'
Hall marked in Birmingham in 1822 and by Joseph Taylor

An interesting silk purse made up of two parts separated by an internal steel plate

The silver has bright cut decoration on the blade and the holder
A pearl folding fruit knife with a silver blade decoratively engraved on the edge
