There were no shorts or gas. Transconductance measured an excellent 65 66 where minimum (65%) is 36 36. I played this tube this morning it in my Bottlehead Crack headphone amp with Sennheiser SD 580s and it sounded excellent. It is dead quiet when the preamp is muted and has excellent frequency response,

The spine is in fine shape with no loose pages and the dust jacket is without nicks or tears
