2.5x6.5 Vintage Lilihan Rug Runner:: Double vase tree of life design motif interior inwardly pointed directed at a minor medallion with blossoms and buds buffered by serrated leaves atop a covered field of floral cross sections interconnected by delicate vinery. Unusual size and scale. This carpet was likely part of the painted Sarouk and Lilihan variety, which was pigmented upon importation over eighty years ago to accentuate the gem like shades.
