Two Hands, AphroditeThe dark ruby colored 2007 Aphrodite is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged in new French oak for 18 months. Herbal, eucalyptus, and cassis aromas are unpleasantly green tinged. Firm, slightly tart and tannic on the palate, this compact effort is especially disappointing considering the lofty price tag.

Lily and heliotrope contribute to the wines head-turning aromatic intensity and their inner-mouth perfume to the allure of a subtly creamy palate
