Chamonix Greywacke PinotageThis wine is made from 100% Pinotage grapes. A perfumed blackberry scented bouquet with touches of incense and iodine. The palate is supple, rendering this is an easy drinking Pinotage that is a delight. There is a smoke tobacco edge towards the finish that is nicely integrated. This is a fine Pinotage from Chamonix with savoury tannins. This wine pairs well with venison, duck, barbecued meat and hearty stews.
30% Grenache and 20% Mourvedre grapes
Best served chilled or over ice
with aromas of ripe blackberries
malt and oat biscuits
15% Trebbiano and 5% Chardonnay
violet flavours and hints of oak
It has a touch of vanilla and almond
Semillon (90%) and Muscadelle (10%)
with hints of warm vanilla and toffee
