MagdelaineShowing some lightness in the color, the wine is maturing. More interesting on the nose with its black raspberry, floral, tobacco and earthy character, than on the medium bodied, crisp, bright, red berry and herbal finish.

there is very good freshness and verve to the nicely delineated medium weight flavors that are also very dry and slightly austere
richer and more powerful full-bodied flavors that also coat the palate with dry extract on the impressively long and equally complex finish
aromatic and fresh in the style of a top Pomerol
The wine has good intensity
with potential longevity of two decades or more
but there is lots to enjoy here now
The 1993 Tignanello reveals gorgeous notes of cedar
It will probably flesh out further with more bottle age
dead-fruit flavors and bright acidity on the finish
