Likely made during the early 1900s for the burgeoning "Grand Tour Era" tourist trade, this piece of unfired pottery has maintained its integrity and would make a stunning art display piece. The pottery itself is made of thick and heavy "unfired" clay of a blackish color with remnants of red brown pigment along the rim, as well as decorative geometric carvings on its sides.
