(27) Tillotson HW-33A Inlet Needle & Seat SetThe Tillotson HW 33A inlet needle and seat set is the precision valve assembly that controls fuel flow into the carburetor metering chamber. The needle sits in the seat and is lifted by the inlet control lever to allow fuel in when demanded. When the metering chamber is full, the needle re seats to shut off fuel flow. This on off cycling happens continuously at high frequency during engine operation. The needle tip and seat bore are precision matched
