Features an acanthus capped handle and crimped rim. There is a monogram of MH to the underside and a crest to one side. Hallmarked to the underside for London 1770 by George Smith III. In very good order with moderate surface wear commensurate with age and some misting of the silver. These are probably heat marks (firescale) and is more noticeable on a white background.

They produced a year plate each year up to 1999

The design is called "Heart catcher" and was first released by Lalique in 2003
