The name of the man was Rolf Schmann. The first item to note is a document folder that contains his apprenticeship certificate and examination certificate. This is a very formal piece with the DAF motto as well as the logo for the Reich Guild Association of the Confectionery Trade. There are seven small black and white photos of Rolfs

though there are some spots of red discoloration on one side of the obverse

There is also a large capital letter “R” stamped above all of this

The body is field gray cloth which shows some wear and discoloration from use
