Domaine Dujac, Clos Saint Denis(from a 1. 48 ha parcel). This is both more aromatically restrained and more elegant than the Clos de la Roche with its reluctant nose of rose petal, spiced tea and red and dark berry fruit aromas. There is a really lovely mouth feel to the refined middle weight flavors that exude a discreet bead of minerality that adds a bit of lift to the intense, balanced, focused and beautifully balanced finish. This is aromatically similar if a bit more elegant and certainly more complex and with a touch more floral character as well

(from both Charmes and Mazoyères in a roughly 50/50 proportion)

balanced and harmonious finish that offers moderately good depth and length

honeysuckle and blossom

the nose is markedly less expressive though with noticeably more Chablis character present on the green and yellow fruit and floral-scented aromas
