German WWII Army Shoulder Boards for Motorized Transport-German WWII Army Shoulder Boards for Motorized Transport These are constructed of green wool with a light blue piping for the motorized transport unit. They are in near excellent condition with no moth tracking or damage. These have sliders that would slide over the wool shoulder boards. The sliders have a chain stitched number XII in blue thread. This would be a removable cypher, and most likely is the district number assigned to this soldier. These

The tressing is for the rank of Unterfeldwebel which is essentially a Junior Sergeant

The side of the interior is stamped ET 64 indicating production by Eisenhuttenwerke of Thale in the size of 64

presumably his father

Following the unification of Germany in 1871 his father

The dustcover is present but there is some tearing to the front and the top part of the dustcover’s  spine
