Drouhin Laroze, Bonnes Mares(almost entirely from a 1. 5 ha parcel in terres rouges). A brooding and backward nose is presently revealing little save for glimpses of red and blue berry fruit aromas though the rich, full and sleekly muscled flavors are sappy, intense and powerful, all wrapped in a classy and very pure finish of exceptional length. Despite the reserve, this is impressively constructed and built to age. Terrific and worth a close look. (92 95) 2017+

It has a much more sumptuous bouquet compared to the 2010

and they used a little more grapes from La Horra

The freshest nose to this point with an earthy extract of red and black cherry and pinot fruit aromas that introduce edgy and firmly if not aggressively structured medium full flavors that are quite complex and this finishes with a noticeably dry

This also possesses relatively fine-grained tannins though there is notably more size

tannic and structured

it enters the palate with softness and elegance

is still in barrel

The wine is refined

The soft tannins and soft red fruits are dominated by clever work during the ageing process

Medium-bodied and quite forward for Bonneau Celestins

silky tannins provide the backdrop as the 2001 opens up in the glass

almost understated finish in context of the growing season
