SOLD……A mother of pearl 'snowflake' thread winder. Palais Royal. c 1800A small mother of pearl silk winder from a Palais Royal sewing set. French c 1800 In excellent condition. 27mm in diameter. Stock no. KC22
3cm long folded not including the ring
The hinged lid is engraved silver with a gold wash finish
The toothpick extends but on close examination looks to have been repinned into the slider
The metalwork is sturdy and of good manufacture
There are also lists of the sovereigns of Europe
which may be old Wedgwood
In excellent condition- no holes or repairs and in the round
In good condition- there is some light pitting to the steel blades
The 45 gaming pieces are carved from mutton bone into various shapes including a bird and a trumpet plus a few are painted
This is just a normal pack but only using 7 upwards including the ace
The side is covered in gold tooled leather and the back has a disc of mirror glass
A pair of steel scissors with gold loop handles mounted onto the steel in the early style
