Georgian Emerald Cruciform RingRare Georgian cruciform ring with four peruzzi cut diamonds arranged at the cardinal points around a central emerald. The ring dates from the latter half of the 18th century, circa 1780, and it has survived in great condition; the shoulders are wonderfully intricate with scrolled openwork that continues around the gallery. It's crafted in 15 carat gold with silver settings and bright, lively stones set over silver foil. An archaic old cut, the Peruzzi
tested as 9ct and 15ct gold (band)
Chain is silver plated
