Steve Hart was born in Beechworth, Victoria, on February 13, 1859 to Irish immigrant parents and died at the age of 21 during the Siege of Glenrowan. He was of slight stature, and possessed a youthful feminine appearance. He would scope out banks for robbery by dressing as a young woman. The original artwork was created by Cullen in 2008.
