the individual lots were simply deemed to harmonize well with one another and amalgamated
The palate is medium-bodied with supple red and black fruit laced with white pepper and just a touch of dried blood
The 2004 Barolo Brunate is approaching an early plateau of maturity
plenty of black fruit laced with tar and black pepper
it is impossible to ignore the wine’s richness and depth
The tannins are bold and fleshy
I tasted the 2007s at the winery in November 2009 and then again in New York in January 2010

with taut tannins
yet the creamy mousse carries a concentrated range of honeyed apricot
