Hologram Crystal (Iron-Doped Lithium Niobate) faceted StonesThese are faceted hologram crystals, aka iron doped lithium niobate. They are available in calibrated sizes and in fancy cuts. We have both light and dark toned stones depending on the dopant level. This is a really cool crystal in particular iron doped lithium niobate is grown for use in holographic storage. This is an emerging field (ok, it's been emerging since the 80s but still in progress) which allows data to be stored directly in a crystal

a rare laser crystal which has been used in new breakthrough on-chip lasers

5x24x24mm and weighs in at 76g and has bubbles on one edge which can be removed in preforming

With a hardness of about 8 on the Moh's scale it is also an excellent material for use in jewelry

They are available in calibrated sizes (though the sizes vary a bit within the range and pupil size varies too) and as individual stones

and their unusual orange fluorescence gives them a unique look

Color change sapphires is sometimes incorrectly sold as lab alexandrite

including pink and golden laser garnet ( Ce+Nd) and green laser garnet (CTH:YAG and Er+Cr:YSGG)
