Lys-Rød N°24 2024The term "Lys rd" means "light red" in Danish. Also setting it apart from the traditional regional name "Schilcher". Its not allowed to use Schilcher anymore as this Strohmeier cuvee is too pure for and it stands out of the for Schilcher rules. Its made of 100% Blauer Wildbacher and it was a wonderful Hand harvested for this vintage, it has 4 hour maceration for minimal skin contact, spontaneous fermentation in used oak barrels, unfined, unfiltered,
The wine is bottled after 12 months of maturation in used 500-liter wooden barrels of acacia and oak
