Afghan UshakNamed for their place of origin, Oushak rugs were first woven in the small town of Oushak in west central Anatolia. Since the 15th century, Oushak has been the production centre of Turkish rugs, home to the famous Ottoman manufacturers.
Often woven in the Shah Abbasi or the Islimi style (or a combination of the two)
