Antique Scottish agate Sword and shield brooch, Silver, VictorianAn attractive and unusual antique, Scottish agate and Silver sword and shield brooch. A very unusual design with the shield,often found with just the sword minus the shield,the sword has a basket hilt set with red Jasper under the sterling silver cage. The shield is round and features a number of different Agate sections, mustard and Montrose agates and red Jasper with a further Agate to the lower half of the sword, very detailed and a heavy brooch.
