Beavertail Cactus 'Kanab Blue' (Opuntia aurea) is an EXCLUSIVE hybrid prickly pear cactus growing in the high desert region of central Oregon. It is a unique spineless hybrid that we think is a cross of two sub types of O. aurea, it is has a lower but wide growing habit, and has large spineless blue green pads that bloom large bright yellow

This plant has performed well for us but is best if pruned at the base to encourage a strong upright growth
