Ihlenfeldtia vanzylii *larger plant*Ihlenfeldtia vanzylii Family: Aizoaceae. A interesting Mesemb with blue green slightly fuzzy leaves related to Lithops. In higher light the older leaves will get a purple cast to them. Puts out one or two sets of leaves per year and clumps readily. Flowers yellow. Easy to grow. It is a winter grower so give it more moisture in the cooler months and hold back on the water in the summer. Readily forms clumps. Protect from frost. You will receive a plant

If you select large

In fact it is so unusual that many now consider to belong to a new genus

Keep dry when it drops its leaves in the fall

but is said to take temps down to 20F or so

Rather than growing a vine

In the winter it will drop its leaves and become dormant
