Roagna "Pira" BaroloWhile Roagna is more known for their Barbaresco holdings, the family's largest parcel is actually in the Pira cru of the Castiglione Faletto commune of Barolo. This is a powerful wine, with darker red fruit than the Barbaresco, and a slightly more austere profile created from formidable tannins. Definitely one to age for the future.
