The wood is pretty rough, it is stained with a rust. It is nicely marked evy and dated 1942. The evy indicates his was made by von Hagen, Ww. Wilhelm Metallwarenfabrik, Jserlohn Westf. Again, in as found condition.
The interior has just the broken leather liner band remaining
printed in 1982
We purchased this cutlass directly from the family of the veteran who brought it home
It is a bit out of shape but looks fine on a mannequin head or a hat form (which is included)
