A set of 5 silver topped reels / spools. c1840An unusual find 5 cotton reel holders with engine turned tops in silver. c1840. 3. 5cm high. Tops 3. 5cm in diameter. Bases 3cm in diameter. In excellent condition. Stock no. LJ42

The sterling mark is just readable but the rest are obscured by the decoration

A 19th century mutton bone lace bobbin inscribed with a motto- 'Marry me Quick and Love Me Dear'

the back of the lid has a screw on silver disc which should cover a pad of leather or rubber which would act as a seal when the lid is screwed down-the original must have disintegrated

A lovely Georgian christening set -a silver knife

An attractive needle case / needle book inlaid with a butterfly on one side and with a geometric 'floral' shape on the other
