Opinel Sharpening Stone - 14cmThis is the larger of the two sharpening stones that Opinel now offer for their knives. Previously both sizes of Opinel sharpening stone came from a quarry in Lombardy, Italy. However, due to issues sourcing larger pieces of stone from that quarry this stone now comes from the Arige region in the Pyrenees. It's schistose sandstone, which has a uniform disruption of fine grit within it making it perfect for a sharpening stone. This stone is 14cm long,
The knife is supplied in a cardboard box
a box of mixed screws and nails
So it made sense for us to combine them into the ultimate gift set for the gardener
they'll be a trusted tool for years
It's all housed in a Japanese pressed steel box and contains
55mm blade length and 203mm overall length
The Mustard and Duck Blue are two new colours and the photography we have at the moment doesn't do them justice
including sandpaper and a small screwdriver
