It is a later model vintage Seamaster. Built at a time when the quartz revolution was taking hold and Omega was cutting costs, this watch with automatic Cal. 1012 movement with quick setting date carried on the long standing mechanical tradition of the Seamaster. With its so called "tropical" case with gold plated top and steel back, it has the look of a solid gold Omega
