Early 1900s Ornate Bronze CNB Charlotte NC Bank Door Knob & Backplate GS00811This listing is for a large bronze backplate with matching bronze door knob which was salvaged from the Commercial National Bank in Charlotte, NC. They were used inside the back on very large thick doors. The set is connected by a side partial lock latch which can be removed. The bank's combined monogram letters are shown above the door knob. The reverse of the backplate is stamped with the following "Toulon 2850 L H Patented Apr 19, 1904, Aug 20

The front has a textured ribbed pattern and the sides are smooth
