It has black piping for NSKK M Brig. Berlin & M Brig. It would be worn by an NSKK mann to obertruppefuhrer. This is in near excellent condition.
Dust cover is in place and does have some edge damage from shelf storage
The finish on the hilt and the scabbard has toned to a gorgeous dark gray color
He received news that he had been awarded the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves and Swords after his release from captivity
The obverse of the cross guard bears an excellent oval medallion topped by a DRK-style German national eagle
Erhardt survived the war and was interrogated while in Russian captivity
with a Japanese star in the center
