Chanson Pere et Fils, Chassagne Montrachet Chenevottes(from a huge 2 ha parcel in Chenevottes proper). Once again there are suggestions of the exotic present in the form of passion fruit, viognier and dried orange peel on the white peach and citrus blossom aromas. The medium bodied flavors are rich to the point of opulence with a suave mouthfeel that contrasts moderately with the bracingly dry but balanced finale. Worth a look.

offering deeply concentrated cherry pastry and blackberry flavors that become more energetic as the wine stretches out

This too is exceptionally ripe with jammy black pinot fruit and warm earth scents that are trimmed in a hint of prune
