They usually keep just a couple of their fuzzy flat leaves, but can hold up to three leaves. Unlike other Haemanthus species, deformis' bulb will grow under the soil rather than having it exposed. They bloom readily with vibrant colors hence their name

Like most aroids they enjoy to climb

They do appreciate lots of humidity

This cultivar is an odd version of the species Hoya carnosa

These are some what fast growers for Dischidia

They are phototropic which means they move slowly throughout the day to capture light and at night they close upward a bit

Although they do just as nicely in a potted planter

Water every 7 days

This is a hybrid of Oncidium cheirophorum (pod parent) and Oncidium ornithorhynchum (pollen parent)

It can be a bit of a slow grower though
