SOLD…..A vegetable ivory needle case. c 1850A 19th century carved needle case opening at one end for needles and bodkins. It is made from a honey coloured tagua nut which is soft to carve but sets hard in the air. c1850 In excellent condition the groove in the screw thread is natural to the material. 8. 5 cm x 2. 5 cm 3. 25 x 1 inches Stock no. This looks like the original label and should be retained if possible

A fine English silver needle case made of silver filigree

A pair of French chocolate boxes made from decorated card with prints under glass on the lids

They are joined by a length of the original elastic

The whole piece is metal with the pins fitting in two rows of holes

In good condition- the original varnish has been removed and the piece refinished
