Victorian Belcher Cluster RingA Victorian round cluster ring with a halo of old cut diamonds set around a turquoise cabochon centre. Carved scroll motifs adorn the shoulders, and the prongs are formed from cut away sections around the gallery known as a belcher setting. It's crafted in 15 carat gold and dates from the latter half of the 19th century. The name, belcher ring, is said to have been inspired by the famous Regency Period prize fighter Jem Belcher (or, by other accounts,
