Arlaud, Clos Saint Denis(from a . 17 ha parcel of 40+ year old vines located in Clos St. Denis proper). A perfumed and dazzlingly elegant nose displays aromas of essence of red pinot fruit with plenty of spice and floral elements in evidence. This too possesses a caressing mouth feel as there is an abundance of dry extract that buffers the moderately firm tannins on the dusty and superbly persistent finale.
